free jazz in the spirit of post-punk + post-colonialism Four improvisers collide and coalesce in Hamburg for an evening of spontaneous music. This concert is part of a new series for acoustic jazz, composed, and improvised music which takes place in the Westwerk sporadically on a monthly basis. The collaboration for this evening was curated by Camila Nebbia, and features a quartet of musicians whom have worked together, but never in this formation. Patrick Shiroishi is a Japanese-American multi-instrumentalist & composer based in Los Angeles. Camila Nebbia is a saxophone player, composer, improviser and multidisciplinary artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina based in Hamburg, Germany. John Hughes is a North American double bassist residing in Hamburg.
