The duo was formed in 2013 and is a collaboration between the artists Marie Gavois and Alexandra Nilsson, based in Germany and Sweden. The duo have performed internationally at noise festivals like dESTRUKTIVA in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Queer Noise Fest in Stockholm as well as concert halls such as Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and Stockholm Concert Hall. SISTERLOOPS are nasty academics, strictly wild, brutally feminine, we are amplified knives. SISTERLOOPS’ work explores sounds in combination with movement, action and image. They expose details and frictions by expanding and projecting the tiniest sounds, turning them into harsh and nasty expressions as well as questions about femininity. Intrusively embodying the sound, claiming space with acts in a musical context; they turn severity into wildness. Their performances are dominant, choreographed power with multilayered meanings. Sound contra movement, image contra sound. Broken Cymbals Project is SISTERLOOPS main ongoing project since 2017. With 60 broken cymbals and electronics they produce trashed beats and distorted textures, noisy drones and singing metal. The cymbal is used as instrument, object and scenography. TRAILER: SOCIAL MEDIA ***** tAngerinecAt tAngerinecAt is Wales based duo that was formed in Ukraine in 2008: Zhenia Purpurovsky (from Kyiv) and Paul Chilton (UK) – songwriters, producers, composers, and multi-instrumentalists who craft a spellbinding sonic world using electronic production, hurdy-gurdy, voice, whistles and an array of other sounds. Their new album Glass that hit the top of the charts on Bandcamp and was voted one of Louder Than War's top 100 albums of 2022 highlights Zhenia’s personal story as a multi-ethnic disabled queer refugee and complex trauma survivor from a working-class background. tAngerinecAt has developed an international cult following over the last decade with festival performances and hundreds of successful headline shows in the UK and Ukraine including headline concerts at Kyiv House of Artists for a crowd of 500, a performance at Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2023 in Leipzig Central Theatre (700 capacity) and appearences at Tallinn Music Week 2023, Focus Wales 2023, and Sharpe International Showcase Festival and Conference 2023 in Bratislava. ‘If it doesn’t get your blood pumping then you may as well check yourself into the crematorium.’ – Louder Than War ***** Schwemmbalg : Fischzeh Zwei Dilettanten mit Mikrofonen formen Klumpen aus Field Recordings, Geräuschen und Samples zu einem schwammartigen Gemisch aus verzerrten Stimmen und zerstotterten Beats
