In This City, I Have Loved - an audiovisual poem
(english below) In This City, I have Loved ist ein audiovisuelles Gedicht für Klaviertrio, Performer:innen, KI-Ensemble und Live-Visuals. Die Inspiration dafür stammt aus dem Buch Last Words from Montmartre der taiwanesischen Schriftstellerin Qiu Miaojin, die bis heute als Ikone der queeren Literatur gilt. Das Werk greift die fragmentarische, poetische Erzählweise des Buches auf und überträgt sie in die Gegenwart, indem es die literarische Vorlage in einen Dialog mit dem heutigen Leben queerer Migrant:innen setzt. Gefördert vom Musikfonds. Eine Kooperation mit dem ligeti zentrum. It draws its inspiration from the book Last Words from Montmartre by Taiwanese writer Qiu Miaojin, who remains an icon of queer literature. The work adopts the book's fragmentary, poetic narrative style and transposes it to the present day by placing the literary source material in dialogue with the contemporary lives of queer migrants.
