Die Präsentation #85 erkundet ein breites Spektrum künstlerischer Radioproduktion und erforscht den Reichtum der Dauer als kreativen Prozess in der Klangkunst Radio Art Zone, herausgegeben von Sarah Washington, ist ein wegweisendes Buch über Radiokunst, das gerade bei Hatje Cantz erschienen ist. Hervorgegangen aus dem gleichnamigen 100-Tage-Sendeprojekt, das während der Europäischen Kulturhauptstadt Esch2022 lief, versucht das Buch, eine exquisite Transformation vom Äther auf das Papier zu vollziehen, indem es einen Schatz an Ideen und Reflexionen über Radio als Kunst bietet. Arising out of the 100-day transmission project of the same name which ran during the European Capital of Culture Esch2022, the book attempts to perform an exquisite transformation from airwaves to paper by providing a treasury of ideas and reflections about radio as art. As a first special event to show the book before its main launch in London the editor and four contributing artists will share radiophonic experiences and delve into the process of creating 22-hour-long radio shows. Art commissions include a radio series for Tate Modern, London (2007), a 100-day radio station for the 30th São Paulo Bienal (2012), and a series of radio shows for documenta 14 (2017). Since 2000 Washington has worked together with Knut Aufermann in the experimental music duo Tonic Train, and in 2005 they founded the travelling radio project Mobile Radio.She was the co-artisitc director of Radio Art Zone (2022). Knut Aufermann has been producing radio art for more than 25 years, and works together with Sarah Washington as Mobile Radio. Artistic milestones are Resonance FM (2002), Radia Network (2005), Electromagnetic Summer (2007), Art Special (2010), 30. São Paulo Biennale (2012), Dubbelradio (2013), Radio Revolten (2016), documenta14 (2017), CWCH collective (2020) and Radio Art Zone (2022). Mariola Brillowska, bildende, Medien- und Performancekünstlerin sowie Autorin, Regisseurin und Produzentin. 2005-13 war sie Kunstprofessorin an der HfG Offenbach/Main. Gewinnerin diverser Film-, Poetry- und Hörspielpreise, u.a. Grand Prix der Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen 1991, MUVI - Oberhausen 2007 und 2017, Deutscher Kurzfilmpreis „Goldene Lola“ 2017; Hörspielpreis der Kritik „Adrienne“ 2019; Deutscher Filmkritiker Preis 2019; Langes Brennendes Mikro des Berliner Hörspiel Festivals 2021. Felix Kubin, funkensprühender Spannungs- und Weltenwandler aus Hamburg, macht Hörspiele, Sci-Fi Pop, Lecture Performances, und schreibt Stücke für Orchester und Elektronik. 2019 drehte die französische Filmemacherin Marie Losier mit ihm das Doku-Phantasma „Felix in Wonderland“. Er betreibt das Plattenlabel Gagarin Records und ist Mitgründer des Festivals "papiripar" für Pop | Kunst | Rotation in Hamburg. Günter Reznicek, composer, musician, performance artist, and radio play producer. Releases of experimental music as Reznicek as well as electropop (mainly as Nova Huta, formerly also Groenland Orchester and La Stampa). With artist Mariola Brillowska, he produced many radio plays, performances, and the anarchistic radio show „Radio Las Vegas“. Also, he is the musical director for the theatre performance collective Ligna.
